Thank you to all of the families who were able to make it to our Open House today! It was really great to meet all of our new families and just as great to catch up with all of the familiar ones! We are very excited about the upcoming school year and look forward to working with all of the fantastic Grade 3 students!
Just a reminder that our first day is Tuesday September 3rd. ALL students will meet on the WEST side of the school between 7:45 - 8:00 and find their teacher. At 8:00 we will gather as a Grade 3 group and walk around the school to our EAST side entry and dismissal doors to go inside and start our day.
Some things to remember...
- Your child will need a pair of indoor running shoes (suitable for gym class)
- We will be eating lunch in our classroom. This is a friendly reminder that we are a 'Nut Aware' school and encourage families to pack nut-free lunches and snacks as we have students in our classroom and school with severe allergies
- A hydrated brain works the best! Please feel free to send a water bottle to school with your child to help them stay well watered!
- Please make sure that each day your child is dressed for the weather as we may go outside for our daily F.A.B (Fresh Air Break), gym activities as well as for various learning experiences
- LABEL EVERYTHING with your child's name as sometimes in the chaos of the day there can be mix ups
